Hi Stuart how you diddling.

I have been past the place that is selling it and looked ok from the outside. Its been around for quite a time though. I have seen some pics of the Chassis which looked like it had never been treated from new.
Although it has been painted now... but god only knows what it may or may not be hiding.

I think some other PHers may have been to actuall se it and drive but cant remember who

Mail me if you want me to go and have a closer inspection its about 30 mins fom me

that is sooooo cheap! if i was in the market that would be top of the list. interior looks in good nic...dont BV's go for nearer £14k??? what's the seller playing at?

Is it really an original BV? If it is it's great value - even for a 4.3 it's good value although the colour combo isn't the best IMO.

Doesn't mention anything about history or BV provenance. Doesn't mention much at all in fact! Looks nice, standard and unmessed with though - but of course you can never tell. My money (not £11995 unfortunately) is on it being sold by Monday.

I went and had a look last month and took it out for a drive. Although iam very new to Griffith ownership (ended up buying a 500) I had done quite a bit of reseach (as you do!!) The interior was very very damp, i assume from being sat outside, paint work wasnt too bad, a few chips and the paint had sunk on one corner. Chassis looked good and had just been painted with smoothrite, wheels and tyres good. Engine was fine at idle good oil pressure, when i took it out it felt very flat, again i assume due to being sat for so long. The history i didnt think was that good. The previous owner had apparently done lots of work himself but there were no receipts. Finely the price, the guy didnt really want to come down below £13500. Hope that helps. Makes the green one in the classifieds seem a very good bargain!!

I'm still sat on the fence, I really miss the wind in my hair, but need the 4 seats, due to the sprogs.
Lets see what appears (hopefully) at the motor show!
