griffs first porsche for lunch

hi clive, nothing serious. that a griff beets any porsche boxter is not a thing to matter about. if it was an S then it would be another thing on bad roads. but please be very carefull with your "beast". porsches against tvrs that is like comparing cats with bulls ! a griff runs great on a good road and has much more torque than any boxter. but never try to follow a good driven boxter (not even speaking about a 911, and not even about built from 1993 on). you will have to loose and hopefully will survive without serios injuries !
porsches are made for high speed driving, griffs are made for cruising with about 220 km/h max. like a cobra f.e. if you really want to have a porsche for lunch then buy yourselve the new corvette.

hi steve, that was not fair to the porsche and what S do you own (i own a tvr S1 - you own a boxter S ?). and as is allready said, the griff is faster on good roads and no boxter is as torquefull and fast as a griff. but still never compare them on a motorway or within their limits !
but funny to hear that there are griff owners around there who try to mess up with little boxters ! wrong thinking from my side. you may have hundreds of griffs in the uk, probably just another kind of "used" and "cheap" sportscar. like a nissan 300Z here in germany. sorry about that if it´s true. but however, try to mess further with the little boxters, m3s and other mass-production-cars. we need cheap spare-parts ! ha ha

Hi Clive,would love to have been at Pembrey myself (3miles away from home)but had to wait in all afternoon for the return from the bodyshop(full respray)of my P+J! catch up again sometime soon.

Erm, yeah ok!
) all a bit of fun and know my limits..... I hope. 
My 500 leaves 911s for dead never mind Coxksers whether it be an S or not. Mind you when I had it on a rolling road at tunit in Chorley it was pumping out 290BHP and 340 lb ft touque and is totally standard.
Mind you never raced either on a really twisty road but the Griff kills 911s and Coxsters S on everthing else.
Being half German and having owned a 928 GTS for 7 seven years in the 90s which was a fantastic car i ain't no Porker hater either.

Why all of this comparison between porsche and the griff? the porsche driver was educated on the power of the griff, it was a case of he tailgated the griff and couldn`t keep up when the loud pedal was squeezed. No contest, of course it was straight and the griff just pulled away, now if it was on a road with twists and corners then driver ability is to be taken into account, but give me a tiv anyday after all {flag waving} it`s british.
