While the engines out....

I'm having the Girff delivered back to me for a bit while the engine is sent off for balancing with a new crank etc etc.
So I was wodering, while the car is in that state are there any key maintenence jobs I could be doing that would be more difficult or impossible with the engine in situ?
I'm thinking of giving the chassis a once over...anything else I should have a crack at?

I would:

1) Check the wiring loom where it comes out of the bulkhead and runs around the back of the engine
2) Repair/replace the inner wing heat shielding
3) Replace the engine mounts
4) Do the chassis - especially the top rails of the 'backbone' wither side of the engine
5) Ask mikedavis whether or not to bother replacing the flexible fuel pipes

Get a good priest to come and exorcise the engine bay before the beast returns. Look for the 666 and paint over it.
