New injectors fitted (at long last)

Not run the car yet, and the suspense is really getting to me now.
Will they:

a) leak
b) flood the engine
c) make the engine/exhaust explode (again )
d) give the appearance of working, then leave me stranded half way to work tomorrow
e) work properly and allow me to drive the car to work tomorrow

I'll also let you all guess how crazy I've been with the sizing...

I'd guess B - If they're significantly higher flow than original, unless you've adjusted the pulse duration (or pressure) to suit the engine.

mine needs a remap after fitting some blue topped injectors........ more flames out the back then before, more bangs ..... smells like a moving petrol tanker... no leaks though

bit of a bugger to start as well.... sort of floods it a bit I think

if they're bigger then they will run VERY rich, giving starting probs crap mpg screwed cats etc.

f) Car gets washed away by torrential drought...

I have a mappable ECU BTW. And it is guess-configured for the new injectors. They're 600cc/min so idle could be interesting if I haven't got the open/close time parameters right...

They are the ones I bought of you..... I'm just a bit slow in posting the results.......

At the same time as the new injectors, ACT trumpets and induction kit fitted. The car is 4.3 pre cat with "cherry bomb" exhaust conversion.......

Not being an expert I but I think it needs Mark Adams to have wave a wand over it to get full potential of the extras.

It worked - started first time
They didn't leak, but it did run a little rich until I got the size parameters exactly right. It's never exactly the same as theory...

It's considerably smoother than with the Lucas injectors so far.
