Rear drop links - I dress to the right sir !

Just fitted SH Front & rear drop links. Fronts fine but I fitted the rears on the INSIDE of the anti-roll bar rather than the outside as recommended by Steve. Anyone else done this ?

Its like my roll-bar is longer that expected or the angle is too flat at each end.

Thoughts ?

Without wanting to hijack the thread, anyone (Steve?) got any ideas on 'best' length for the links (in terms of bar position). Is the idea to replicate the centre-to-centre length of the originals whilst achieving the necessary articulation or should the bar be in a specific position with the links adjusted to suit? I'm sure there are some geometery effects in there but guess they're prolly to subtle to be felt over the relatively short adjustable range available?

The bar has to miss everything - that's all. The leverage change from lengthening/shortening the drop links is negligeable.

As Pete says, adjust the length to get the best fit. The only real issue is if the lengths are different side to side as this preloads the bar and will cause different handling turning left and right. Fine for racing on an oval but not on a road car.
