Clutch knock

I have a tapping noise coming from the clutch which goes away when I put even slight pressure on the pedal. Had it checked and it diagnosed as one of the fingers (think I got that right). In for a new clutch in two weeks. It's not behaving in any way it shouldn't other than that.

Reckon I'm alright to use it in the meantime ?

I would say it was the release bearing moving or rocking on its mount on the arm?

Using it is up to you, i would if i was covered by a recovery service.

I would too. And Griffs are driveable without a clutch if you are careful. Start it in gear in second and off you go.

Just noticed a similar thing on mine this weekend. When pulling away with reasonable revs I can hear (and feel) a grinding noise as drive is being taken up. Does it in 1st and 2nd. If you keep the revs low and pull away slowly it doesnt happen.
I know it had a new clutch about 6000 miles ago. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
