Cuts out (sometimes)

My pre cat Griff occaisionally cuts out. If I approach traffic lights for example as soon as the clutch gos down the revs drop back to zero and the engine dies. It'll then do it maybe 4 or five times and then cure itself only to repeat the same thing maybe a week or two weeks later. It never cuts out when I'm on the gas, it's like the idle just isn't there. Generally does it when hot. Not a massive problem but very annoying. It think it may have started doing it after I had new manifolds fitted. Any ideas ?

I adjusted my idle speed, with the stepper hose clamped, to the recommended 500 rpm. Problem is, the stepper is a bit slow to react at times, and sometimes fails to open up the air flow before the engine stalls in situations you mention. Solved it by adjusted the idle to 900rpm with the stepper hose clamped. Idle with the stepper hose un-clamped in both situations is 1000-1100 rpm.

Had the same problem with my Chim 400. Lambda sensor fault code show up on my fault code reader. Changed the sensors and now running perfectly. No fault codes now either.

Nope we dont...... less problems to deal with
