Bugger. Made a big mistake on Saturday

Went to drop the Griff off at Barnet and foolishly had a conversation with Giles.
Now I am cursed with not only contemplating replacing the original dampers with his Ohlins, but also started considering chopping the car in for a Sag!!!!!!
Damn that man.
Has anyone experience of TVR Centre's ohlins? I'm sure that any new set up will dramatically improve the old wagon but would be interested in learning a bit more about the options.
As for the Sag, a bunch of fivers and a large tub of filler to dispose of those dreadful faux vents and I would be very tempted.

The way I am thinking is that you are not going to see any of that money back so the Ohlins are worth it if I plan to keep the car as a cheap 'once in a blue moon' fun car but it I reckon I'll be chopping it in then the Nitrons will be more than good enough.
To be honest I can't see the point in spending £55K on a car (unless itis a classic of some form) that will only be used a few times a year so am likely to stick with the Griff.

similar position last year, my dampers/springs were knackered (7 years old)
As i was going to have to do them anyway, and spend some money, I thought I might as well go for the best.
hese were specificaly tuned for the car by giles i by specialists, - see news on ph's somewhere...
HAve to say, can't say if they are bettre than nitrons, nothing to compare against.
BUT they are excellent, i thought, as i'm keeping the car for ever, i might as well pay for the ohlins

Made the call last night and having them fitted.
I have to admit to getting worn off with the handling on the Griff in recent years compared to other wagons I've been tootling around in.
The last time I shoved it round the Ring I had little confidence in the way it was darting about.
I'll keep you posted on progress, should be done in the next couple of weeks.
