16 inch spider

Hi, I am thinking of a 16inch spider conversion, mainly for the big brakes all round. My 92 Griff brakes are not really good enough for the performance. The 16 inch fronts look enormous in the arches (from photos), anyone else got a set and all okay? (no hotting arches on cornering?) Any other way of doing brakes and keeping the original 15 inch original wheels?

I have run the 16-inch Spider and brake upgrade for over a year and it has been fine. I have just finish adding 18-inch Spiders all-round. All seems fine so far.

Nic , I have 16's on mine, when you take into account the profile reduction of the tyre , it doesnt look bad.

Have upgrade on mine and is well worth the money. Better braking just for a start. Is a set advertised in TVR Classifieds here on PH. £1400 I think.

Hi, I currently have a New factory kit for sale on ebay with a set of used 16-inch Cerbera Saturn wheels, £1095. One could use their current rear tyres and buy a new pair for the front. This way you know the history of the tyres fitted to your car.
