Any ideas how I get one of these apart. Mine gave up the ghost yesterday after deciding to come on of its own accord while driving. Probably just needs a clean and some dry joints redone but I can't get the thing apart (well I can but I don't think it would be useable after)

Mine did something similar last year, but we'd just come out of Demon Tweeks - ended up having to drive the 18 miles home with alarm screaming its head off.

Only solution I'm afraid is replacement, batteries are enclosed in the stuff from hell and you can't get at the gubbins.
