Cooling Fans...HELP !

The cooling fans on my Griffith 500 will not turn off.
Came back from a run turned the engine off and keys out of the ignition and the fans were still running.
The only way to stop them was to remove the fuse.
If I replace the fuse the fans come on straight away even from cold.
ANY IDEAS would be welcome Thankyou

Relay welded , or otter switch up the duff.

Try to pull one wire off the otter switch, if they stop its the otter, if they carry on then its the relay.

Thanks for the reply I did as you suggested and it turns out to be the relay.
The problem I have now is it has welded its self into the fuse panel and I can't get it out!!

By the sound of that,you just caught the problem in time.I suffered the next stage with my first chim,which was a melted board and a small fire,which then burnt out the heater box above!!If you are lucky enough to be able to continue using the board after you get the old relay out,then i would strongly advise that a good idea is to seperate the two fans,each with their own fuse and relay.This will reduce the individual circuit load and you should get no further issues
