Sorry if this has been done to death already, but I couldn't find this specific bit of info;

I am in the process of sorting big brakes, 5 stud hubs and 16" wheels all round for my Griff 500 (1996). Spiders would be the prefered wheel, but can anyone confirm which off set/ which model they come from. As I understand it they are available in 38 and 25 (front and rear) and maybe more variations. I also believe the last 100 special edition Griffs had 16"s all round at 37.5, so 4 fronts SHOULD do the trick.

But before spending the money, can anyone who has experience of this confirm that I have got it right.

I run spiders, fronts on the rear and rears on the front.

I have tracked down some ex-factory upgrade kit hubs.

Looks like a bit of a bodge - hubs redrilled and new plate welded on the back, but I guess if its come from the factory it must be ok.

How did you sort yours and what car did your wheels come from?

Any clearance problems or handy hints?

The plate on the back of the hub is pretty much the standard way(although mine are different)
I got my wheels (IIRC) of here , dropped on at a good price.
No clearence issues with the 16" as they are "only" 7.5" wide......

Surely you want at least 17's with 330 mm discs to get bragging rights or won't the griff accomodate such large stoppers
