Caliper seal Kit

Anyone know a part no. Is the fronts a Ford Cosworyh arent they can that be confirmed, It does have Ford onteh calipers.

The seal kits are about £15 and you can get them from tvrcarparts but, they are a pain to fit and if the seals have gone for a while the piston/bores may be scoured. If they are, then they are a bin job.
Had the same with mine a couple of months ago and got reconditioned callipers through tvrcarparts for £70 or £80 from memory.

Standard are Escort RS Turbo Series 2 (or MK 4 as our local Ford dealer insist on calling them !)

Will pop down the local Ford dealers tomorrow.

I have taken the piston Out and it seems good/no scoring so will try the Kit first. Think teh worst thing is getting the piston bake in, think a friend has the tool for doing that though... he hopes

Yeah got the mail Cheers Hamish, sorry havent replied yet been busy get the calipers off and cleaning up/Protecting under the arches while everything is off. Have updated the List thanks, you may want a
look over to make sure its correct Alt Parts list.. Once again thanks

I resealed mine when I owned an RS Turbo, not difficult, just take your time.

Use fluid round the seal to help it back in the bore and then I applied gentle presure with a G clamp. Press the piston all the way home to re-engage the dust seal and the jobs done.
