When switch on left indicator - both sides activate

Hi,

Have yet another indicator problem . When I switch on the left hand indicator - works fine. When I put on hazards - works fine.
When I switch on Right Hand indicators - both RH and LH indicators are flashing !
Any ideas greatly appreciated !!

Obviously no easy answer. I always get the wiring diagram, and find what goes where, then trace it on the car. Painstaking, but usually effective.

Wired behaviour is usually earthing related - had this on my Vauxhalls, which has similiar components. Try tracing the earth of the indicator bulbs and clean them up.

Managed to find the problem. a protection diode (on indicator LED) was blown up which caused current to flow to 'other side's' indicator circuit. Now all fixed. Thanks for all suggestions.
