Spares for foreign travel

When taking your Griff away for a week or so abroad, what small pack of emergency spares would you take? Any ideas on part numbers and places to buy would be great too...

Any others? I appreciate that I might not be abe to fit them myself but J Foreigner Esq. Mechanics mightbe able to given the right parts....

Fanbelt Jeffsy? It's an auxiliary drive belt!
The list in the bible is
Euro Breakdown Cover
Your car documents (I take copies of all except insurance which in France at least needs to be original)
Warning triangle, fire extinguisher and first aid kit (mandatory in most places)
Beam deflectors (never bothered with them personally)
GB sticker (or better still a lovely G & B in chrome)
Bulbs
Fuses - especially 40a for the cooling fans
Fan Belt (but we know it's not for the fans
)
Throttle cable
Tool kit
Tape
Cable ties
Otter switch bypass cable
Torch
Multimeter
Plastic sheet
Jump leads
Water
Radiator Sealant
Emergency Radiator Putty
Hose Bandage
Tyreweld
Liquid gasket
Oil
Octane boost in case you can only get normal unleaded
Antifreeze if you are going somewhere cold
Rain-x
Owners handbook and bible (don't know why the handbook but the bible is a must)
Have a read of the notes for this lot in the bible, it makes quite interesting reading.
I also carry a tyre-compressor because tyre weld alone isn't necessarily good enough and a hiviz vest is a must in most places too. A Dizzy cap and rotor arm are always in my car and don't forget the mandatory insulating tape and 2ft of wire!
Oh, and a camera of some description in the glovebox. They can be invaluable in incidents/accidents (god forbid)

With things like the drive belt, throttle cable, Dizzy cap and Rotor arm why not simply fit them, then you have the nice new bits on board so presumably they won’t fail and also you don’t need to carry them. The other benefit is that you know they actually fit. Can’t be a lot more annoying than getting the spare out, in the rain, in France to find it is from the earlier / later model.

I've been abroad probably 10 times in my griffs and just take a aux drive belt, a throttle cable, some fuses and a Euro breakdown card (never needed any of them though). Anything significantly more serious happens I figure I'll just get it recovered and waft back home in one of Hertz finest.
This is after my father blew his Cosworth up with a flat-out oil pump failure in Slovenja and the local Ford dealership stripped the engine down over night without his authority before realising that thay had absolutely no idea how to put it back together again!
