Concealed boot opening

Can someone please e-mail me the alternative way to open the boot on a Griff 500?
Whilst at Le Mans I managed (for the first time) to shut my keys in the boot and what I thought would be the way in proved not to be if you see what I mean I managed to get in but now I'm curious !!! Rich...

I have had the same problem with my 500SE, and I did the thing that is suggested but it didn't work! I now always leave the keys in the ignition whenever I open the boot. That way I can never close the boot with the keys in it. I'm sure this method will be absolutely fine until some scrote jumps into the driver's seat and has it away with my pride and joy!

Is my SE different from other Griffith 500s, or why didn't the technique work? It is number 57 and has the standard style backlit numberplate.

I have opened the boot on my SE after the battery died to get into the car the normal way ... no issues ... fiddly as ever, but no problems ultimately.

I locked my keys in my boot at a trackday at elvington - nearly missed the sighting laps but thankfully Jules (track car solutions, as was joospeed) was on hand to get me in "the way". So it works on a '96 Griff
