Griff 500 Stearing rack leaking

Hi all.
My Griff 500 pump was wining a little then a day or two after shot out its fluid in a jet like fasion all over my manifold Causing lots of smoke. so i whipped the rack off (not very fun) and sent it off to be repaired. when i got it back it seamed fine, fitted it and drove down the road.... same thing happened
anyone know if the pumps are known to have dodgy blow of valves or what else it could be....
