Headlight Cover

Anybody know where to get a Griff glass headlight cover? Apparently their availability is on a par with rocking horse poo.

You mean the perspex cover?

Tinted are / were avaliable from TVR, but clear (for pre cats) are scarce.

I got a new clear pair from Leven a couple of years back. My understanding was that they had their own source of manufacture. May be out of date info now but worth a call to Julie or Simon to see.

got some from levens earlier in the year i think they are around £100 ish for the pair delivered

Thanks - I'll give Leven a call.
It's been tempting to go for a headlight conversion to get around the problem, but I'd like to keep the car as original-looking as possible, even if the lights are sh1te.
(It's not a pre-cat (96 500) but they're not tinted either....)

well if its only a 500 then go for what ever you want, sod originality seriously the right colour car does look good with tinted lenses even if that wasn't what was fitted in the first place..

Leven should have some they certainly had both tinted and clear a few months ago.

For two bits of perspex? There has to be a better option - IIRC mine came from Tower View Race Services, but that was 1997...

I just contacted Leven, they have none in stock but can get them. Apparently london TVR have them in stock, iam just waiting for an e mail to confirm!!

As for the tint, I reckon the lights are crap enough without putting them through sunglasses!

just to let you know London TVR have them on the shelf for £130.96 + vat inc postage!! they have one set left on the shelf!!

Well...........at Leven there £142 inc vat and postage????? Is there some where else to try that are cheaper???

gees I thought they were about 100 inc vat and postage from Leven. In that case 130 what a bargin it must be like the price of oil everytime someone says they're running out the price goes up! sorry can't help with another source.
