i just had my kind neighbour run her runabout into the back of mine..fortunately she left a note.

It's in the body shop now for a quote, but i want to make sure that they don't cut corners, expecially as i am not paying for the work!

The back panel is damaged with glass fibre protruding from a 10 inch long crack. I can't tell if the crack passes right through the panel wall. Can this or should it be patched up or are we looking at a whole new panel?

An experienced GRP repairer will be able to patch it up as good as new without using a new panel. If you insist on a new panel you will have to wait at least 2 months for TVR to make it. If you're in the South, I can thoroughly recommend BeeGee Coachworks in Chessington.
