Bodywork??

Can anyone recommend a bodywork specialist in the Berkshire area?? Have got some damage on the front end of my Grif thats down to the Gel coat!!

Again not Berks but not too far away, Ewelme Coachworks www.tvrbodyrepairs.com south of Oxford are excellent - I had a full respray last winter - after a great deal of research on PH and elsewhere. Lots of Tivs there for all manner of body repairs etc. Worth a chat with Paul.

Austec are easily accessable by train and do a good job

I went to Ewelme in January 2006 for a front end respray. Nightmare. Job took a long time and finish is poor. Two rings have appeared. One on the bonnent and the other on the nose of the car. There is more and I will not bore you here. Cost £1200.
Go elsewhere.

If you want to go further afield, my Griff has gone into MGS coach works in Purley, Surrey (last week) and is due back sometime this week.

Their work is excellent and they are one of the World's best Alfa Romeo restorers.

Check out Grifters car, it was painted in sunny old stoke, seem to remember he was well pleased............

Thanks very much for the replies, ill have a phone round to the ones you have recommeded. I take it the average price is £1000 for the front and £2000 for a complete re spray???
