What fan instead of VA10-AP6-47A?
Discussion
Hi folks,
I have to change a broken fan in my 1995 Griffith 500 (bearing noise). The above mentioned type isn't available any more in Germany or via SPAL. The successor is a VA10-AP70LL- 47A, which has less airflow (2372m³/h at the most, the old fan 2600m³/h). A more efficient type is VA01-AP70LL-66A (2750m³/h), but has a fitting depth of 94mm (the old one 86 mm) and no curved blades (means: considerable louder).So there are my questions: Is that difference in efficiency in your experience important or not in a easily overheating car? Is that old fan type still available in UK? Which fans do you have in later built Griffiths or to which fans did you switch without problems.
Many thanks in advance

I was looking into replacing my fans a while back and someone posted this link;

Aparently the KPF127 is the acquivilant dimensionally to the spal fans, and pushes 4000m3/hr and 14.1 amps
