New Griff owner

Only 4 days to go and i collect my Griff , cant wait, the last 2 weeks since I did the deal and traded my much loved S1.5 in have been like a lifetime. Plus the odd doubt as to whether I have done the right thing. Its a J reg pre cat with 50k and full TVR service history. Hope over to the Growl on the sunday to see some other Griffs and owners.

Had mine 3 months and had the same misgivings while I was waiting to pick it up. Changed from a V8S which was no trouble.

I can confirm that you are doing the right thing. Only had one small issue so far, a loose wire to the fuel pump, easily resolved.

Once you drive it you will forgive it anything. Enjoy.

Put a grand a year away for upkeep. Enjoy every minute.

Get yourself a reliable mechanic EDIT just seen your location - Automedon in Blackpool or Ian (Torque RVT or aka Middlewich MOT Centre 01606 831 244, in Middlewich) are the two indies I am aware of. Ian's mine and, as I told him the other day, he's a genius in need of a manager . FanTASTic with Griffs. See threads with refs on the 'search' button.

If it aint got a CD/MP3 system in - dont bother; save the cash for a worthwhile item. Every now & again I remember I have Machine Head in. But, quite honestly, even sublimely appropriate tracks like Highway Star, Pictures of Home or Lazy are redundant when conducting a mobile orchestra of your own; when piloting a road going version of the Battle of Britain; when in tune with Skylark's adrenalinised great nephew.
