Growl - Friday arrivees

Myself, jeffsy and mongoose will be arriving mid morning to set up. Anyone else arriving can lend a hand if they wish. We'll be down the White Horse for lunch (and a few cheeky ones), probably a chill out in the afternoon (sauna, swim and kip) and back down the Horse for around 5pm. If anyone wants to join us feel free.
PS The White Horse is 5 minutes away - turn left out the hotel and keep going. it's set back on the left hand side.

I'll be there; staying over at the Girly's in Leamington Thursday night so I'll come on over; won't have anything to do other than hang around the girls school after she's kicked me out at eight. Cornish Boy (James) reckons he'll be up from Oxford around mid morning too and is willing to lend a hand. Just give me simple tasks with plain instructions though coz I'm sh*te at thinking.

5.30 it is then. Take it you're open at lunchtime? Will the Growler be on? How many barrels are you getting as (77 pints - is it) per barrel and 120 odd people at say 3 or 4 pints average = lots of beer.

Sorry won't be there until... well not sure really..... errr..... later. (its dependant on camera spacing). so won't be able to help set up unless you save some for me. Should be there for the sauna, swim and kip..

there maybe 120 people coming , but not 120 ale drinkers , we had 2 barrels for the wedge fest as they said alot of ale drinkers , we were left with 1 and 1/2 barrels. There will be our two regular ales on as well , so I think we will have it covered.

Also I think there will be more ale drinkers and there are also a fair crowd coming Friday so my guess is we'll get through more but you know the score so I'm happy.

Yes we are open Friday Lunchtime , I might not be around though , but everyone will look after you. I wasnt planning on having the growl ready for Friday ,i thought it best to save it for when the bulk of you are here and it depends on when I tap it , as it will be in the outside bar , long with the cider and bottled beers. We found running this bar o/side helped tremendously. The Growl will be gravity fed.

Our planned ETA is 3:00 - 3:30 so as the White Horse has said 5:30pm opening, I will be surprised if it is open mid afternoon.

I also expect from FFGs post that those that have already arrived will be 'kipping' (recharging the batteries -

Plan to be finalised Friday. The colour thing would be good but I think it will be unmanageable unless you want to take it on. Famous Griffs will have reserved area.
Plan is to rest but I suspect we won't.

Kirk - a few of us will be in Friday lunchtime for a couple or three and a bite to eat...I think we will have deserved it by then!!!

Might be able to start sleeping at nights again after this bl@@dy show is over
