Try looking back at this post, not quite what you want but perhaps a starting point. There are several Diff ratios, which do you want ? I have one under a pile of stuff in the shed.

thanks for the reply's i have thought about doing it in bits but i thought this might cost more. a comany on here is selling the chim engine 500 with workings barr ecu and diff for £5250 which i thought was very high as i've seen them go aroung 3000 and under.
as for which diff i didn't know they done different diff on the 500, but i have fully looked into it, what would be the best for carrying more weight than the griff's orignal weight, and i'm after 0-120 as a pose to top end
as for electrics what you got and what cost, am i better getting the whole lot as i'll have it all or do it in drips.
very greatfull for all help

sorry about that bit, ok i have fitted a rover sd1 engine in my triumph 2500 with all stag running gear. but there a few already done this so i now want to run a tvr 5.0 engine in it with ever borg or rover box. hence why i need every think. the reason is for it to hit all the front pages on the classic car mags as i've restored the body to a high spec just need somethink speical under the hood. i use to own a griffith with a serpentine engine with the borg box and would like that feel in the grandads car
someone has put a 4.2 in a sprint and i know the 4.2 runs smoother but taking it one step further
cheers

rich one of the popular conversions for the diff is to run the e30 bmw complete rear axle assembly, you have various diff ratios from 3.2 to 4.7, personaly i would go for a 3.9 ish, unless you want a car to cruise at 60 mph at under 2000 rpm. not sure if the griff diff will actually fit the stag?
the guy to speak to is richard lane, formely of brighton stags, i would certainly stick with the rv8 as many have been done, but we have worked on quite a few now that have the e30 rear suspension, richard is known on here as speed8 if you go to the major mods forum and look for tuscan with a chevrolet in it thats your man
