anyone used Supagard 100Plus???

Friend gave me a pack of "Supagard 100 PLUS Professional Paint Sealant" which comes in a kind of one-use 'mitt' - apparently you prick the spongy 'mitt' to release the goop and then wipe it all over your car. I think this is the stuff some car dealers offer at huge expense in their showrooms for long term paint 'protection' - anyone used it? should I use or throw in nearest bin?
