session at Austec

going over to Austec saturday to have a dyno session, interested to see what a standard 10 year old 500 griff is putting out, and where the money might need spending over the winter lay up.
I`ll be taking the mrs with me and thought we`d try and find something to do for the rest of the day before going back to the island, so any ideas? sensible suggestions only please!!
just looking for something along the south coast, nice roads, bite to eat, that sort of stuff, because if I don` organise something in advance she`ll suggest the S word
no not sex, SHOPPING!!!

250-275bhp for a standard one running OK .....
Mine was 267bhp and then 274bhp on different days at Austec - it was relatively standard; just a Mark Adams remap and no precats. Some completely standard ones make more but are rare - apparently.
Paul probably won't be able to give you a print out at the moment as they haven't done the software yet for their new 4wd rolling road - if he can please tell me so I can get my Griff down there as he owes me a power run and printout

True, but i get chest wig Seasider telling me how wonderful and all conquering these Griffs were
. .Its not so much about the figures you get,it's more about using the same RR for comparisons.We have had people on here who took their griff to a rolling road and got the 320 or 340bhp in std form!!!Just shows how much they vary.

I agree standard griffs I've seen on rr seem to be making 240-250 ish bhp
