garmin i3 and griffith compatability?!!

I just got me one of those bargain i3s sat navs which are supposed to be so fab...however I can't fix it on the windscreen apart from slap bang in the middle which aint much use really! It's because of the curve of the screen near the edges...just wondered if anyone else has found this and if they have come up with a solution. Otherwise will go and get a Tom Tom 1 instead!

Yeah, same unit same problem.

I've put mine very low down in the centre and it's perfect, I was annoyed at first at the though of having to position it there but now it's second nature.

Yup did try that but found it got in my line of sight..will try again. Also I wasnt sure if the unit uses its batteries whilst plugged into the cigarette socket...and how long they normally last? Sorry a bit off topic

I bought some decent rechargeable batteries, I didn't like the idea of having any wires hanging around.

I've got a Sony NXP and was waaay to big for centre of screen.
Managed to get it low down almost on top of dash drivers side almost in corner of screen, sucker seems to grip well plus lead from cig lighter socket handy for power.
