Gearbox confusion!

Hi all, this may seem a dumb question but what box does my Griff have? Its a 92 pre-cat 4.3, reverse is top left next to first. Is it an LT77 or T5? Need to know because I need to source a replacement so if anyone knows of one in good order I would be most grateful. Many thanks...

Yep, T5s have reverse bottom right.

Thanks guys...one more question... Can the T5 be fitted in place of the LT77? Is it a simple replacement or is some adapting required?

Try RPI engineering www.v8engines.com they sell a replacment for the LT77 I think it is called a R380

I've got a stripped down LT77 if you want one to rebuild, yours for a few quid.

People poo-poo the Rover box but I found it nicer/easier to use than the T5.
