Cheapest MOTd in the Land?

Without trying to be disrespectful to the owner,i wonder what the condition is really like,particularly the chassis and mechanicals.I know it has a full MOT,but that doesn't always count for much.I also notice that it doesn't say full service history,so perhaps some of that is missing.
There are always bargains to be had for sure,but some turn out to be expensive lessons.
If it really is a good one,then it is a very good price.

not to bad gary bit quite at the mo,,,
good news is the cat was ok when we got home from the growl, so looks like the tablets done some good,
It was good to meet you and the misses at the growl and had a very good time so looking foward to next year and meeting up for a drink,

It is remarkably cheap. I have been a griff fan for years (Mongoose - twas I who got the other Mike (vestas on ph) into them - I believe you helped him buy his precat about 4/5 years ago)
This one does look nice, but as you say, who can tell from the picture.
Rather than buy a cheap griff I decided to pay top ish money for an immaculate V8S which is a very nice car....I preferred that than to have to spend potentially a fair amount of money righting a griff that needs it....
that's my logic anyway. PS Mongoose - That was a very nice precat that Mike had, he had it for about 2 years I think, sold it for a saab estate...

Could it be because its in the North East? Would you travel the length of the country to view a car in the hope of getting a bargain or see a few in close proximity to you and pay a bit more? Not saying anything is wrong with this car just putting the idea out there

His Griff was a good car for the money,at the time he bought it i thought.I bet he'd like another?
-Saab indeed!To be fair,i think i remember him having a growing family at the time. Are you a regular at the Bristol meets?Ought to pop over sometime

I did, Bristol to Newcastle for my 390se..
Lovely drive back, I saw it as 6 hours of noisy sunbathing.

I still see Mike on occasion, he's busy a lot of the time though. He had (well Mrs did) a boy, I tried in vain to stop him from selling it but he had his sensible head on. After all, we all manage somehow. I tried to tempt him with my way of thinking, a shed for the dump runs, (£250'S Worth of steaming astra 
) TVR for fun, and sensible family car for the Mrs, and various other stuff....but no, he didn't fancy that. I did like his griff, and still see it on occasion, sold to a chap in the same line of work, where I am too.
I haven't been to a Bristol meet yet, must make sure I do that, willy wicket pub isn't it?

There's people all over the isles that'd be up for a Griff no matter what the price. He aint dropped it just so someone south of Watford Gap can say OK, I'll buy it and if it's crap I'll throw it away It's probably a good car. He needs to put more pics up I reckon. Let's see... I am amazed to find my car causing so much interest :-)
Yes the car is cheap but only because I need to sell it quick.
The chassis is in excellent condition and has been waxoled regularly, the service book is missing but it has had the same owner for 6 Years prior to me buying it and it has receipts for around £5000 of TVR dealer servicing over the last 7 years. The car could do with a set of 500 wheels in my opinion as the origonals have some corrosion and it could do with a good valet otherwise the only it is truly FAB oh and the rear tires are still ok but getting a little low about 2000-3000 miles left
