What colour is it? I bought my Griff with a badge that was painted over in Gold. This was looking tatty and the gold paint was chipping away. I would have preferred the original chrome badges, but when I removed the paint (over the kithcen hob) it was very badly scratched, so I was left with the option of buying new badges or repainting. Cheapest option won out and bought some metallic spray from Halfords - now looks as good as new and only cost £3. worth a shot compared to £35 for each badge!

Have heard of some people re-painting theres but at the end of the day they will slowely corode again especially the rear one being right above the exhaust.

Can highly recommend the Leven Technology ones,as having them on my griffith. They send u the new one which is an old one refurbished and then has some sort of glazing over it,and then u send your old one on to them.

This really shouldn't be an issue, if the chrome isn't badly pitted then just clean off the loose flakey stuff and re-spray it with semi-matt black from Halfords or B&Q, then just carefully wipe off the surface to expose the chrome again and polish. OR... on the other hand if you can't be bothered with all the faffing around driving to halfords etc. , just treat yourself to a nice shiney acrylic coated one from Leven. 35 quid? bargain! Rich...
