Gearbox remote change assembly

Posted a topic on the Chimaera list which some of you may have seen.

My gearstick basically doesn't engage any gears due to the remote selector shaft coming away from the ring that the gear lever engages in.

Has anyone else had any similar experiences or found a source for spare parts. I know its a TVR bespoke item but I think its made up from Rover SD1 parts.

you could try rimmer bros in lincolnshire,very efficient on mail order and specialise in sd1,triumph etc.tel no. is 01522568000 i used these many times when i had my triumph and they were very nice to deal with.i ought to add that if you can e-mail me a piccy of offending article i might be able to give you the rover part no.-i have a rimmer catalogue in front of me as i write this.
