Bright spark

I`ve put up with an intermitant misfire/hitting the wall at 5thousand revs /poor fuel consumption ( 120 miles a tank!) for a couple of months so decided to try and cure it. Re-read S . Heath`s head scratching time article in Oct 2002 Sprint outlining causes and solutions, cleaned stepper motor, replaced ignition module ( Lucas part straight swop, don`t buy from TVR ) , then replaced coil ( Bosch ) , new spark plugs and finally 8 mm ( bright yellow) Accel HT leads ( £29-00!)

Result : no misfire, smooth, crisp throttle response, clean reving and back in love with the purple one again !
