Tuscan For Sale / Griff Wanted

Hello Guys,

Due to changes in circumstances, I have decided to sell my MK1 Tuscan.

It has been a realy tough decision, but last night I realised to achieve what I need to from a financial point of view, I could soften the blow by getting a lower valued TVR.

Therefore I will be offering a PX for someone wishing to change from a Griff to a Tuscan.

If you are interested keep an eye on the PH classifieds early next week or send me an email.

It was just going to be too tough not to be part of the TVR family, so your help would be appreciated.

I am sorry if I have offended you by this use of the forum in this way.

I was under the impression it was an area for discussion. I am aware of the classifieds section, and my car has been advertised there for everyone to see.

However I am actually trying to use this forum to try and find a fairly specific car, and discuss an exchange.

From my understanding of ebay, it is an auction, where the person who bids the most gets the car.

That is less money orientated and more car orientated. The one whose got the best car wins.

Perhaps I would be better addressing my request to Noel Edmunds, if it is not acceptable to use this Forum

Sorry, man. It was not my intention to bash you, Bishy. I noticed two other threads recently and I guess folks are trying to eek the best dosh for their cars this side of next Spring.

I was at Fernies today (car was serviced) and was surprised to note that newer Griffs are selling for a higher price than Mk 1 Tuscans.

I'm not surprised. Griffs are all but unaffected by TVR parts supply worries. Cost and hassle of running a more cheaply bought Tuscan will almost certainly exceed that of running a Griff, like for like, over time.
Nowt wrong with Tuscans, but they're a different proposition to a Griff.
