information on carbon canister please

hi ive got a probelm my father is rebuilding the front end of his griff 500 94 and has removed the carbon can with out labelling the pipes first has anybody got any photos or can anybody enlighten me on which pipe goes where ive looked in the bible and searched the forums but not much information cheers

Hi, Give me a couple of days, then email me on [e-mail]. I have removed my light pods and lenses as I need to change my head lamps to left hand drive ones, so I can photograph the can and email it to you if its of any help.

hi yes this would be a great help you say you are fitting left hand drive headlights wher e are you taking the car as my father is just about to start to register his 500 in france if they let him? cheers byron i will email you

Byron, thanks for the email. Glad it helped. I am in Spain and I have just changed the headlamps for a set of BMW 3 series late 80s left hand drive ones. I found a car just around the corner and the guy sold me all four lights for less than £50. A little mod was required, but all done. Going back for the MOT on Tuesday. You should be able to register the car in Frnace as I believe there are some there which means they have been already homoglated and may be in their computers. If not the computer will say Nooooo!
