Griff rolling road day-in the west

I went to a rolling road on Thursday,with Grifter(Ben Buchannon) and his lovely 4.3 pre-cat.Ben and i had a great time,and we were impressed with the chaps at Interpro in Thornbury as they were freindly,knowlegeable and proffessional.
To cut a long story short,Ben came up with the idea of a Griff rolling road day,for those of us who find the usual trip over to Surrey or Austec a bit too far.
How many of you would be interested in atending something like this?Cost would be £30 each for your power run,and as previously mentioned,the location is Thornbury,near Bristol.Thornbury is easy to access from the M4,M5 and M48,so whether you from the midlands,south Wales or south west,it should be easy to get to.
The day that Interpro hold these events is always a Sunday by the way.
Let us know by posting here,all those who would be interested.It would probably be held in November i would guess,though this is flexible depending on you guys of course.Cheers all,Mike

Just to echo Mike's comments, we were really impressed. Interpro specialise in blown Jap's and Fords - I guess that's where the profit is. But they also had a turbo charged bike-engined race car in, a supercharged 5 litre (or was it 5.2?...) Range Rover, and they did't stand around scratching their heads looking for where to plug in the laptop in the TVR.
The RR operator was extremely knowledgable and helpful. He patiently listened to what I wanted, and dutifully carried out my requests:
Adjust CO and timing, try alternative ecu, and gave me a print out for each permutation.
The crack with the RR shoot-out day is basically a power run for each entrant, a print out, and words of recommendation as regards anything the operator notices is amiss with the car, or anything else to dicuss.
12-15 cars are needed, so we'd need commitment from at least 12 people before we go ahead. No deposit is needed - but obviously we don't want to let them down. There seems to be sufficient interest to get something together, and Mike's just gone on holiday. Nice delegation Mike!

It looks like we've got enough interest to get going. I phoned Interpro and they do one Sunday 'shoot-out' a month. First available month is January. I can't do the 14th, and the 7th is a bit near Christmas (I haven't worked out if that's good or bad). So to make it easy, please reply to this thread stating your preference (or niether) for 21st or 28th January. We're pencilled in for the January shoot-out anyway. Don't worry about snow, it'll be one of those cold, clear days giving you at least 3bhp extra.
At the moment I intend this to be purely a Griffith thing. We can open it up if numbers are short. It'll run from about 9 o'clock I guess. I don't think slots are pre-booked, so it'll be run in the order you arrive - but they won't want the RR empty, so I'm anticipating encouraging the majority to arrive for the first run of the day, and make a day of it. Depending on numbers/timing we can all decamp to a local hotel after for some grub and bragging.
