Who was it in the Lakes yesterday?

I was situated at the roundabout having just come off the Kirkstone Pass, heading towards Windermere. You were at the rundabout having come out of windermere centre.
I'd just like to thank you, as my other half now is more inclined than ever about Griffiths. Which, let's face it, is half the battle.

Well it wasn't me unfortunately - I had a fantastic weekend up there in the Griff a few weeks back. The Hardknott pass was a scary road, but the Griff coped admirably!

True, although I haven't yet been up/down it in my car....I may have to do it on Saturday.
Or better still, as yours is already aclimatised to it...

I saw a single Chim on the shore of Windermere 'T41***' and later a group of 7 or 8 Tivs somewhere in the Lakes, but as I was visiting not sure of exact location. Sadly I wasn't in the Griff.

I took the Griff up there a few years back. All that torque made it dead easy!

Did your pictures that you refer to, make an appearance in Sprint by any chance? If so, I think I've seen one and I had a shock !

Looking at mine again, it seems it was a different spot but the same road - looking at yours this morning I was conviced we had stopped in exactly the same place... a couple of (bad) pics below for comparison!

Spooky ! Very similar locations. I think the top one, you are probably just a touch further down the same road.
