Griff now sounds evil thanks to Offords, scared the life out of about 100 communters coming out of Bishop Stortford station tonight - thought that they must have got off at downtown Bhagdad on a bad day not a sleepy Hertfordshire town 
as I came down the hill
Quickly followed by a Porsche Boxster who came up behind me to play only to be assaulted by a barrage of pops and bangs, then decided to leave a 50 yard gap instead

Nice one Puff, They did my rear straight throughs a fear years back well worth it, have you gone catless too. If i had known you could have popped round mine on your way back for me to have a gander, just down the road from Offords at Bedford. Nope, cats still in, but have got their Cherry Bomb in the centre. The sound at idle is not much different to the Austec conversion I had on my Chimaera, much more meaty under acceleration at low revs though - I wasn't prepared for the pops and bangs though let off the gas at 4000 revs and its like a box of fireworks exploding
Anyone who says you can't get them to bang with the cats still in - well come and listen to mine its like a 4.5 Cerbera on heat

Do you get the overrun when not feathering the throttle as well? Had my Chim done last year and whilst she'll pop and bang like crazy once warmed up it will only do it when I feather, it's only when shes really hot (Furball in Monaco) that she'll pop on her own accord.
Not often, but did do it a couple of times on the drive home without me trying - needs the throttle feathering to really provoke it.
Even without the mod, the Griff popped and crackeled a lot more than my 4 litre Chim with the Austec mod on the overrun

Is that you rudely awakening me from my afternoon nap then. My house backs onto the station!!!!! Still got to be one of the better sounds to wake up to though. If you drive past the row of houses next to the three tuns, give it some beans and make my windows shake!!!

lol, I was just passing through from Cambridge to Romford that day - the M11 wasn't very appealing in a Griff, much more fun going Royston, Bishops Stortford, Ongar
