Sale of My beloved Griff

It sounds a bit sad but I am thinking of selling this amazing car. It is a 4L 1992 Griff in British Racing Green.

I wonder if anyone could give me some advice about selling it and the best forum. I really do not want to advertise it in the usual way and experience the time wasters. I purchased the car from a friend who was passionate about it and would rather sell the car to someone who really wants it and understands it.

I would suggest the classifieds on pistonheads as a start. Also might be worthwhile contacting specialists such as Rob Ingleby and James Agger who source TVRs for enthusiasts. You should be able to find their details through a search on here.

Put an ad in the TVRCC mag Sprint as well as on here. Ebay is also very popular and regularly checked by the regulars here. Might be worth dropping Russ Bradley (B19 RUS on here) and email as he just sold his and can advise on his experience. Also have a word with Duncan Morrisas his dad Alan might know a thing or two...

Worth noting that ebay now do classifieds as well as auctions, so you can sell "in the normal way" but have a larger audience.
