Best British V8 Sports Car Ever ?

With the recent news that there will be no more TVR's built in this country, does this mean that we are all in possession of the best British Built V8 Sports Car ever ?

The mighty Griff gets my vote.

Sad news for all of the employees and family's

Pleased I had the chance to check out the birthplace of my car at the Back Home event this summer as it appears it was the last chance.

Yep, gotta agree. Had two Griffs but the Cerb gets my vote for best V8. Nothing else sounds like it.

Wow, that's a narrow definition of sportscar you've got there, mongoose.

So what we're saying is that the Griffith is the best british-built V8 sportscar with 2 seats and convertible roof? I guess that narrows the competition down a little

I am as biased as you can be, but it's the Griff. When you drive past someone they say Wow! If they do not , then they are not interested in cars. Nothing looks, sounds, or feels like one. Nothing.

TVR- Best of British and my heartfelt best wishes go to all the folk in Blackpool, stabbed by an attitude sadly typical in the manufacturing industry in this country. Any "TVR" built in goddamistahn, or wherever, is no bl*#dy TVR.
That is my opinion, of which this forum thankfully allows me to air. Spank you very much

You don't need to narrow down the competition for the Griff,as it beats allcomers.
My definition of a sportscar has to be two seats only,and wind in the hair,these are the bare minimum to qualify

You won't need to. That's a very good choice. Nothing looks like a cerb apart from a cigar tube and you can't drive one of those.
