Switchable Exhaust + recessed custom Quad Tail Pipes

Many years ago I looked at this concept but went no further, now every other supercar features it.
Anybody know of a practical conversion kit (vac / elec servo V piece should suffice)
It would be quite nice to have a 'cruise' mode for Griffs on long top down trips, as it would for some to have an even angrier note as an alternative
I would like to fit a custom quad pipe arrangement, recessed into the rear bodywork so it doesnt simply hang off the bottom of the car as at present and into this fit a switchable silencer
If anyone can suggest any Indies capable of such work I would be interested to hear - need good paintshop as paint is Candy Apple and consequently will need to have a seperated near match paint section for modified recess - must be possible

most supercars with the style of exhaust you are talking about are rear , or mid engined cars, so routing the exhaust is quite easy to do to make it look stylish and efficient.
to do this on a front engined car, to my mind , would be a big no no, on several issues.
if the exhaust comes through the rear bodywork, then its going to go into the boot, so, where do you put the roof? and more importantly, if the exaust were to leak, you could be driving along, happily breathing in all those nasty gases!
the routing of this would be a nightmare, you still have to go under the fuel tank, from there its only a short distance to the rear of the car, but you then want to take it up through the boot to come out of the rear body work, the exhaust is rubber mounted, would you like to hear it vibrating against the car body all the time?
I could go on for ages with the problems that this concept will give, sorry but its got to be impractical, unsafe, and probably very expensive, but then again, nothing is impossible but at what price for what you will acheive for the end result?

panic not o negative one! - simply intend raising pipes from tank to tail and RECESSING in two concave half tunnels (no more fumes than standard - hopefully a lot less..)- valve can be accomodated as xhaust emerges from spaceframe tunnel - just that I am no engineer or welder... - looking for some specialist not shy of origination / customising with glassfibre and stainless

I've no experience of them, but I've only heard good things. The V8 centre in High Wycombe now do a lot of work on TVRs and I believe have a history of working on hot-rods. That's what you need - someone with experience and willingness in designing and fabricating. A 'can-do' attitude (I hate that phrase).

thanks for those! - not a lot of thought gone into the backpressure turbulence in these designs is there? - the cut off blade needs to close off the side exit completely not allow gas down a few inches into a full stop..
