It was at Longleat (where the safari park is) Hillclimb in September. Not really that quick, in fact well off the pace compared to the supercharged, Slick shod, 800bhp Viper that was also in the class. The Griff is fairly quick but the driver isn’t, unlike some competitors I did drive it there and home again so having to do that has to cost 2 seconds at least. Tony Bray (which is where the link goes) does edit up quite a good Vid. Take a look at some of his other stuff.

(Nice drive, BTW. Not sure I care for those spectators sitting on the outside of that left hander, about turn 4 - anyone gets one the grass, everyone's going to be in deep poo!)

Probably not as bad as it looks. Spectators are quite compliant and unlikely to do any serious damage to the car.

Yeah, but it takes ages to get the intestines out of the engine compartment - they get wound round all the pulleys.

Yes, spectators tend to be fairly soft and unlike trees have the added benefit that they generally scurry out of the way. In this case however I think the camera angle is fairly deceptive, they are actually a fair distance away and up a steep slope.
