Chassis Colour??

Having now got the engine out of my Griff and the suspension stripped down i am looking to paint the chassis with Por15 (have read other related threads!!) But what colour?? I would prefer to do the whole lot black but originality says to keep it silver, what are your thoughts?????

Silver, black can cover a multitude of sins, but silver is better if you want to show off.

It's best to keep the chassis side down.

I've been in a similar situation. My 92 4.3 chassis had been painted a greeny-grey. Dull, but I thougt not too lairy. There were some rust bubbles under parts so as the engine was out and I hope the opportunity does not arise again soon I decided to POR15 the rusty bits with the Silver colour on originality grounds. The rest of the dull colour and the POR15 bits I have coated with their Stering Silver paint for a uniform effect. Now the engine is in place with the exhausts nicely silver ceramic-coated the overall appearance is, well, splendid!!
