Well I never knew that!!

You live & learn - Ive had my car for over four years now & it has the optional cold air blower on it. As far as I knew it only blew cold air from the drivers side dashboard vent.

So there I was this morning, head in the drivers footwell drying out the carpets after the monsoon we drove through in Italy a couple of weeks ago - & I noticed another vent on the right side.

Open the vent, turn the ignition on & the cold air fan - & hey presto, lovely cold air circulating in the drivers footwell.

I wish I'd found it sooner, could have saved me collapsing with heat exhaustion on the way back from Le Mans last year
