Am i the only Griff owner going to Blackpool this Friday ?

Who else is driving to Blackpool in a Griff this Friday to support the guys and galls at the factory ?

My Griff's in storage and although I'm not far away in Lancaster I can't get the time off work I'll be glued to the evening news tho...

Good luck to all involved and my thoughts are with the staff of TVR and their families. Who know's what this might achieve ??? Maybe the powers that be will change their minds and TVR will stay ?!?! Stranger things have happened !!

I doubt you will be the only griff there .
The car club understandably (is that word?) have taken a view that no official line will be taken on the run, leaving it to individual members to decide, this sadly will I think affect the overall turn out.
I think the problem comes from that some see it as protest rally, which helps no one, and to others it is a sign of solidarity and appreciation to the workforce, I think the latter camp has it imho.

I was thinking about it as I'm driving up to Manchester anyway. Blackpool's just a 'little bit' further...

But to be honest I'm petrified of getting stuck on the M6 / M56 in Friday evening rush hour on the way home, so I've wimped out.

i will be driving up in my griff from hant's and then returning later on in the day it will be a long old road trip
4 hours each way i should imagine but will enjoy every minute. i should imagine the traffic around brum will be nasty if so will take a brake untill it dies down

just finsih washing the griff. and it well be there. going from birmingham. 8:45. shold be about 100+ cars. as some people are going up. and not even on pistonhead. been talking to people around here they hear about it and want to see the factory and thank the people who built there P&Js. so should be a good turn out.

Yes as far is i am concerend i just want to see the factory for the first and probably the last time and to show support to the workers of TVR some of which would have had a hand in building my Griff
