MIL light bulb check ?

should the MIL lights come on at all during normal operation - if not how do you know the bulb is working ?

my saab warning lights all light up for a few secs when you start it so you can check all the warning lights - seems kinda sensible

Dunno. But good point, however, this is a TVR, innit? If they do, Ive never spotted it will look next time.

Should come on with the ignition briefly - IIRC just after startup.

The MIL light is not exactly that reliable. I've never seen it come on even for faults that the ECU has logged that it should recognise. On some cars it is even not connected.
