V-Max and Octane Booster combined

Since the advent of V-Max will i find any benifits in adding an octane booster to the tank and if so what should is expect ? can it be harmful to the engine ? the two combined.

All you will do is boost the octane level, which means you can run more advance on the timing, if you get the cr reset. Can't really see it doing any harm.

hmmm sounds like a waste of money then Chris if you have to make adjustments to see any benefit.

Depends how clever your ECU is and whether it can detect the higher Octane rating and adjust accordingly. I know the Ferraris and newer Porsches can.

Just go to tesco's and put some of their 99 in it..............you will notice the difference after 100 miles or so.

it would if you had a 12.1 compression ratio or similar,i wouldent waste your money.
