Supercharger kit

Anyone know how much TVR power are charging for fitting one of these, sounds like fun!

Loads ,over 3k I seem to remember and unfortunately I think its serp engines only at the moment.
Though I could me misinformed...

£3k is cheap for 30% extra power? plently spend £5k over for more power. Mine is 92 pre cat, so serp only would be an issue.

I doubt that "serpentine only" would be a sticking point if it came to it.

Last time i visited their site they only mentioned a set for the 4.0 and 5.0 engines, what about the 4.3 ?

There issue will probably be what the C/R is.. although I guess they will need maps for 4.0 4.3 4.5 and 5.0

There issue will probably be what the C/R is.. although I guess they will need maps for 4.0 4.3 4.5 and 5.0

They'd need to get the gearing right ro suit the capacity, but apart from that I wouldn't have thought that the capacity/tune differences made any difference.

So far, Serpentine is a definite, but can reasonably easy update. I am still digging.

Think the problem with the 4.3 is they are pre serpentine engines, looks like their not doing a pre serp conversion or are developing summit now.

They'd need to change the mounting brackets to suit the pre-serp front cover, and they'd need to provide a hybrid front pulley and tensioner bracket, but that is all doable. Converting the engine to serpentine is the other option, it might not be the best one though because you'd have to do that to *every* engine which bumps the cost up whereas a pre-serp variation on the mounting kit needn't cost any more to make.

Not that cheap, the serp front covers fetch good money....(sometimes )

Might be good to update anyways isnt the serpentine waterpump a better one ?
