Any thoughts on whether the griff looks better with hood up or down?

I parked up in the local Leamington Sainsbury's car park tonight with the roof in the boot, and the hood down - wallked out with my shopping, and was a bit disappointed with the view that greeted me (sorry!). It looks a bit too flat with the roof down! I'm aghast that I'm suggesting such a thing, but the Griff looks gorgeous roof-up, but not roof-down IMO! Please don't Opinions?

I really like the look when the roof is down but dont make a big effort to really tuck it down too far

And it's quite useful to pootle around with the back up but the panel out - that doesn't look so good though, I admit!
