I chuckled a bit with the description and spelling. I never knew a HC bottom end would give 280hp? wow that must be mega compression!!
oh and tastefull on the exhaust.
I wonder if the next 'project' will be max'ing an E type or spoiling another classic

Setting aside that preposterous exhaust , the car does'nt look too bad.
Cat D status and engine description dont help the Ad.
At the right price (less than 6k ?) it could provide a lot of fun motoring next year .
Reserve is probably something stratospheric though.
Somebody please buy it and restore it's dignity ..

I like it. Get rid of the daft exhaust - replace it with the new ACT cherry bomb one if you want noise - replace the carpets and I bet it would look quite smart.
I suppose the only worry would be the extent of the damage and how well it was repaired.

'Tasteful' was spelt properly in the ad.

It looks like a lot of car for the money to me. The wheels look good, the exhaust could easily be returned to standard, 51,000 miles with a service history. On the face of it, it's worth viewing, I'd say.

I quite like the wheels TBH, but I thought the 15"/16" combo was for a reason?

I suspect the 15"/16" mix was necessary because of the supply contract TVR had with the wheel manufacturer NOT for any engineering or handling reason.

always reminds me of the old "bogeys" we used to make as kids out of a few planks, big old pram wheels at the back, diddy ones on the front ... either that or Peter Perfect's dragster out of Wacky Races! ... never have liked the all 16 Spider conversion

Plenty of tread left on the rear tyres then - that exhaust sounds great no matter what you think it looks like! Even the Tuscan racer didn't outdo the precat Griffith. And as for those sissy Speed 6s - do me a favour!
