1st long distance run

Afternoon fellow Griff owners, had to go to Durham for a family party and decided to take the Griff for a good blast since having the new clutch fitted. Left home (Epsom) 6.30 Friday morning whipped round the M25 to M1, got to Woodall Services just south of Sheffield at 9am (Wife needed a wee.) filled up the car with juice, started the car proceeded 10 yds, engine died! Engine was turning over but would not fire, after a call to our friendly AA man he came within 15 mins of a call and soon determined the fault, Rotor arm failure. He shot off to get the part and was back within 20 mins, fired her up and she ran better than ever.

Whilst on our 650 mile round trip, we did not see another TVR which we find amazing, where are you all?

Oops just realised it took us 2.5 hours to get to Woodall and then 90 mins from there to Durham, not the other way round.

We left Durham this morning at 9.30 stopped for fuel at 11,we were home at 1.25 Griffs just eat tarmac
